I can read 4 books in a month. The frequency is too slow, right? But I know somebody read very fast. They can read 25,000 words a minute. And most of them use the method called "Photoread" I am very interested in "Photoread". If you guys use this method to read books or have any informations, just tell us how to do that.

I can read sometimes 20 books in a month - during the summer. The rest of the year when I am working full time AND going to school full time, I'm lucky if I can read 4 books a month. I'm not so sure about photoreading. I have a friend who is interested in it - but I just can't see spending $530 on a program like that when it just doesn't seem real.

I've just been really into reading - even as a small child. I also absorb well if the book is interesting. Photoreading works only for non-fiction books from what I saw in the demo disc my friend had. And you are supposed to put your mind on key points you want to learn - so you really aren't absorbing the whole book - just the key things you are looking for. There is all of this stuff about exercizing too... and I just don't believe it. Keep trying to read the normal way and you will get better the more you do it. If you have to read information that is boring to you then highlight, make notes, etc to keep you focused.

i can read only 1 book in a month. its very difficult to complete more than one book( pages around 500 ) in a month. i dont know how you do, but u are doing a good job, if u can read 4 books in a single month.reading 25,000 words a minute is a huge task. you need a fast & furious english to achieve that task.

I am quite a fast reader but have never known about this method lol. Is it to do with speeding up the memory? I take Gigki Biloba which is good for the brain but I have never used any method as such to develop fast reading skills. Are you a student by any chance lol?

Well I don't photoread, not sure that I would want to. But I am an avide reader. If I have the time and am not disturbed by my husband and children. I can read about 6 books a month. But lately it has only been maybe 2 books a month. Been real busy with other things.

Depending on the type and length of the book I can read around 10 if they are interesting. But if they are textbooks maybe one.

It depends on what books I read. If it is manga books, I can read about 20 mangas in a month. I can never read 25,000 words in a minute. All I can say is enroll yourself in a "fast reading school". My friend enrolled herself there when we were in elementary and she really reads fast. I think that is where you can learn about the "Photoread".
