Yes, me too. When I'm not on a diet -in these days I'm supposed to be on a controlled alimentary regimen- I cook with a lot of pepper, and we use the entire grains which we powder at the moment of cooking. My mother-in-law, coming from a journey in Egypt, has presented us a couple of parcels of 250 grams of grains of mixed brown, white, green and black pepper (don't ask me what is brown pepper, while the white quality consists of the decorticated berry, the green one is the unripe one, and the black obviously...). When I could cook freely I used it on almost every kind of soup (potatoes, pies, mushrooms, carrots and beans) and on many tomato sauces with the only exception of those which had to be eaten by my 1Y4M son. Not to mention steaks, burgers, and fried chicken. We also use fresh garlic and red peppers but less frequently. bie

HI serenidity, i love cooking and while cooking i alwayz use spices in it. it is a speciality in my made food item. I love garlic, black pepper, Clove Powder and cinnamon, I love the smell of cinnamon a lot so i use it regularly in most of my preparations like fried vegetable rice, and my hubby likes it in his tea as well. In our indian culture the spices have lots of medicinal values attached to it and so their use is encouraged a lot.
