Hi, my step sister has found herself in a situation, a single mother, because her baby's father had a drug problem, was living with her mother, but she finds it unbearable as she will not let my sister be a mother to her daughter, She is very controlling. Anyway. She needs some furniture as she is moving out into her own place. If anyone has any gently used items, that they would be willing to donate, I would appreciate it if you would respond. We would be 100% willing to pay the shipping! I know this is a lot to ask, but I figure if someone wants to get rid of something, I might as well ask. And if it wasnt my sister I wouldnt even ask. =)

Check with craigslist.org as they have many items that are free. That is the way I am furnishing my house. When you get to the website you will be able to look in your city and state for items that people don't want anymore. Also, the Salvation Army and Goodwill and other thrift shops have items very inexpensive.

While I really don't have anything to donate, I would suggest that she post on CraigsList and FreeCycle for the items she needs. These are both great communities where items are often exchanged or given away for free or almost free.
