Why should you choose the coures you want to study in the universty?

Why should you choose a course to study in the uni - Do you choose a major just because you were forced or because a friend was studying thesame?

Hi friends! I just want to know your veiws on this. I mean, if I will choose a major in the university, I will choose it not because someone forced me to or not because a friend of mine is studying that major (course), but because I am in love with it and whenever am doing it, I derive pleasure. What do you think about this? Thanks

We must decide such decissions by ourselfs only not by our friends, we are the ones who is going to face the problems not our friends. We know what we are good at so its us that needs to choose the kind of combination that he have to study and after its what our career is. We should be wise and try to have a life that we will love to have and worth doing it physically and mentally.

I conditionally agree. I say this because of all the Art History majors who are out there now serving McDonalds Happy meals as a career. You should choose a course of study that you enjoy, AND that can lead to a career that will pay the bills. Of course you could do what my fiance' did, and pursue two degrees at the same time. She received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science --- and did it in 4 years. One paid the bills (and she enjoyed) and one was a very enjoyable passion.

Think practically and take a dicission. You have to choose your optional for taking your studies forward. What is the aim of your education? Is it to find out and develop a career for your life or is it for your passion for some particular subject? If it is for the former closely watch the job situation over all and choose the subject which suits to find out a suitable job. Not that your interests should totally be surpressed. But be practical and result oriented. All the best thefuture.
