Just curious as to how many people buy and sell on ebay? What do u buy? what do u sell? Do u go there looking for specific items? Me...I dont sell, but I do buy. Mostly clothes and shoes for my children. I can get some pretty darn good deals off from ebay. Anyone else?

I have sold and bought through ebay. I buy handbags, clothes etc. And I sell mostly clothes. As far as buying I love it. Selling was alright my only complaint was the dreadful ebay fees. I am however trying to find an alternative to ebay, one hopefully without any fees, but so far the ones that I have found like hibidder.com, etc. it just doesn't seem to have much activity. Does anyone have any ideas, I have a whole lot of clothes to sell.

I have been buying on ebay for about 6 years. I can either find items cheaper or find items that aren't for sale locally so it's been great for that. I manage my company's ebay selling account and that is going well too. Fees are a pain in the a$$ and I have made accounts on ebid and www.tazbar.com but there seems to be very limited activity on there despite both being excellent alternatives to ebay. Weird! If anyone hasn't joined ebay yet (and you should... it's great!) please consider joining up through the banner on www.TwoRedPaperclips.com it won't cost you anything and I'll get a few cents! :-)

I do have an e-bay account but have not sold or bought anything,i have bidded on things though.I have heard some good and bad things about e-bay.I would like to ask you is it a reliable place to buy things? Do you meet or ever met with any problems?I have heard that there is some dishonesty on e-bay but that is almost everywhere, but for the most part is it ok and are you happy with buying there and with the items you recieve? thank you for any information you can share.

I would say that it is or isnt reliable...it all really depends. I have been cheated before on ebay. I think everyone has once. It just depends on who u buy from I guess. You arenot buying from stores. You are buying from people sitting at home, like me and you. But for the most part I have been happy with the stuff I have bought. Ive had a few items that didnt come BRAND NEW like they said but it wasnt worth my time to get my mOney back. I guess all in all it just depends. I hope this helps

I used to sell and buy on ebay. Then they kept raising their fees and they lost my business when it became more expensive to list things than what I would get from them.

I have never sold anything on ebay, but I have bought things. Their prices are hard to beat most of the time and if you are looking for that "hard to find" item, that is the first place I would look. Amazon.com is also good to buy from, but I don't know about selling

I guy antique books and baseball cards on e-bay. I can find the rare items that I can't find in a store, it is great. I sell items also, I just finished selling some of my grandmothers stuff that I had sitting around from when she passed away. I think ebay is a great place to find the misc items that you have lost or are looking for. :D

I have never sold anything on Ebay but I do constantly buy things from there. I always look at Ebay prices before I buy stuff from the store. I have bought work boots, car parts, cameras, you name it I have most likely bought at least one of that item from Ebay. I find a lot of good deals from Ebay as well so I will continue to shop there.

I haven't ever dealt with e-bay. Though my sister buys and sells things all the time. I have bought books from half.com which I think it is affiliated with ebay.

Well at first i just wanted to try buying, but now i'm trying to sell too. I'm starting with selling very affordable Twilight Desk Calendars and use a fuschia-ish bordered Twilight picture as preview photo. haha. If you see that preview in Ebay then that's the one i'm selling. ^_^ The first things i bought on there were a book and a neti pot.

I personally do both! I buy things for my daughter and myself. One time I bought three tank tops from Limited Too and I bought them for $1.99! This is a heck of a deal. I have bought a Kodak EasyShare camera for only $18.50! I also sell time to time. I have done pretty well, although I am not rich. I try to make at least $100 month! I want to make more, but I have other obligations.

I buy almost everything on eBay. I no what I want so I look and see if they have it, then I check out Amazon, Overstock or some of the other sites to compare. Sometime I find the exact same item but shipping and handling is high in one than the other. I even buy my houseplants from eBay

I used to sell and buy all the time on e-bay-- I was on it all the time- I actually have some more stuff to put on soon- Just have to find some time. I have boughten new clothes for my daughter- halloween costumes- a couple of christmas gifts- bought some parts for our snowmobiles- I've sold lots of stuff- clothes (daughters), murder mystery games- toys- I don't buy clothes anymore- she is like me- we like to try things on- as you get older it's harder to do this- buy online without trying on.

Just about everyday. I buy mainly kids clothes and yes there are great bargains. I also sell sometimes, I get kids clothes from sales and sell them and make a profit.

I have been buying and selling on ebay for some years now. I find that lately I have been doing it less....As the fees are a little on the high side. However, I still sell certain items that I know will sell. My boyfriend and I collect comics and we have both done pretty well with selling those when we decide it's time to clean out our collections a bit. Sadly Last week I tried to sell a scrapbooking set...the book, paper, some accessories, and didn't get a nibble, which was odd since it's a very nice set. I think it was pretty affordable too...but oh well, you can't win them all I suppose :-) The one thing I don't sell are the hand crafted goods that I make. I sell those here (www.effulgentcrafts.etsy.com). Ebay is not a great place for handmade goods as people are looking for deals, and I don't want to undersell my work.

I buy and sell. I use to sell pictures similar to home interior type for a small company that made them here, but he decided to retire. Made some decent money for being a sahm. Now I just sell whatever I can find that we don't need or use. Hubbies tools, baby clothes, etc... I haven't bought anything in a while as I am trying to bring money in, but when I did alot of buying it was clothes for the kids and hubby, home decor stuff, collectible items. You can get a ton of good deals on there!
