I really hate receiving chain e-mails. Specially those with threats of bad luck and evil things happening to you if you didn't pass them on. Do you submit to such threats or do you simply delete them? Me, I don't pass on chain emails. To me its a sign of being rude to your friends.

I've been receiving chain letters since my elementary days. Others would even send it by snail mail back then or leave it inside the church. What I do now with chain emails is I don't open them and just delete them when my inbox becomes full. Sometimes, when I open one and it has a supposed bad luck attached to it when I don't spread it, even if I don't believe, I always have mixed emotions between deleting or sending it. So to spare me from that, I just don't read them anymore.

I personally don't forward any kinds of emails unless they're brilliantly written or conveying some really nice and meaningful messages. I hate chain e-mails and I definitely won't pass them on to any of my friends or people in my address book. I dislike threats and I don't enjoy being manipulated. I don't believe in them and it gets me bad when they said if you don't pass it onto 5 people within the next 10 minutes, then your parents will get sick. What kind of people would write those things and who are they to determine if the other people would have bad luck or something. I wouldn't want to waste my friends' time in reading those junk and I would simple delete them out of my inbox.

I don't bother myself any of them as I used to get many of them as well in my inbox mails. All I do is just ignore them all then delete them out of my mail inbox completely.

Chain emails are no different from spam. There is a difference though..they are usually from people you know, although not always. Well, I don't believe in them and usually never pass them on. Sometimes I wonder, if I pass them on to my friends, what will they think of me? So I just look for the nearest dustbin when I receive them.

i use to received chain emails until i have to put it to a stop by writing a very casual letter to all my friends stating how nice of them to think of me often and keeping in touch in whatever means but i have to inform them that i would not rather receive such letters since it is giving an unpleasant feeling how it was conspicuously composed to make the person guilty if it was not sent and informed them that it takes up mail space and it is a very unproductive way of helping a friend.i also made them realize that the person who made those are usually listbuilders malisciously getting email addresses for their database which would somehow has some undetected crawlers.i would suggest that you write them a very nice letter and they would understand.

Interesting. I was just complaining about the same thing a few days ago - that means I really hate chain e-mails too. Chain e-mails are everywhere: in friendster, yahoo even on photo-sharing sites!!!! I think the best thing to do when receiving those mails is to just ignore it. Many chain e-mails are made to just bother other people so we better just delete 'em all!!

I don't bother with them because I don't believe the threats. It's usually bogus. I don't want to bother anyone at all.

Yes, I also hate them a lot. I used to forward them a fe years ago. But, came to know that those all things are fake and I don't understand the intention behind it. Now, I am receiving such things by sms. I neither delete them because e-mail inbox has plenty of storage neither do I forward them.

Whenever I receive those chain emails, I just delete them and never pass them on to friends. They are my friends so I will not subject them to threats of pain and suffering if they will not forward the email to others. These supposedly pious and religious mails could not be from a holy source. It is better to just delete them forever. If we want to help our friends get over their problems, let us send them inspirational messages that encourage them to be strong and true to themselves, without threatening them with physical or mental harm if they will not pass the message to others.

i really do hate chain mails too. they're like spam messages that keep on flooding our inboxes and this is not good. for some, its true but come on, those aren't true. how can you see a miracle in chain mails? if you believe in miracles, believe in God and have faith in Him. but on the other side, there is nothing that will happen to you if you would try. i just hate receiving chain mails because they are flooding my inbox or bulk folder.

I keep on receiving chain e-mails over and over again. Its just annoying and yes the threat of bad luck and all that just makes me so mad also. So what I do is I do not read them at all and automatically delete them to my inbox. Yes, i dont pass them too... why cant these guys just join mylot and put their efforts here instead. :)
