Discussing ideas for mylot.

I wished you could break up our friend list with those who are on our "notify" list and those who aren't. I also would love to see the amount of people I am on their notification list.
Would be interesting for me because I've always wondered. I think I've got half of mine on "notify" and the rest I browse at given periods.
Maybe a new system for a "reputation" system would be good. I like the stars but it doesn't reflect a user all the time and something more like a forum package such as VB's does. (They have to give reasons behind rating + etc)
What features would you like to see? any handy, useful or time saving ones?

I like your ideas as it would be interesting to see to see more of what others thought of our idea's . To be able to see at a glance those that were responding more to our discussions or whose reputation was better . I have always found that when you have to compete against something it makes others more interested in trying to get there name up and makes people more interested in working harder then what they are .

I think it would be neat to have a myLot messenger for us to be able to chat live with our friends on here. It would be strictly for myLot users. They have a myLot toolbar so why not have a myLot messenger and maybe even get paid for messaging each other. :-)

I would like to be able to list my friends in the order that I want. When I go to my friends list, to look for someone, I have to go thru many pages before I find them. I have you on notify and a few other friends. I don't have everyone, it would get too overwhelming to deal with. When I do go to Mylot, I spend the majority of time in the catagory "discussions my friends started" that way I get a variety to choose from.

Yeah, I would agree that would be useful alot. What I do is just turn the notification on for all my friends. So, that way I keep track of who is posting and stuff. I don't like the star rating either, I think it is a bit cheesy.

I would change the rating system so that I for example, could only rate you + or - if I reply to your discussion. I don't like how anyone can just go around -ing people, for no good reason and if they had to reply or do something first, it might lessen that.
I also would like to have bold, italics and underline options. It makes it harder to communicate when we don't have these things to add emphasis. Smileys would be good too, to add emotions to our discussions and/or replies.

I hope I could organize my friend's list here on mylot so that I wont take time for me to look for my friends. I hope mylot could also hear our pleas and then review it make mylot mor user friendly than ever and we will all the more pleasant for all of us.

As for the reputation thingy, well, I have to agree that it is not as good as myLot might want it to be. It doesn't correct reflect the quality of the user, in my pathetically humble opinion.
