I see that everybody says they would rather be smart.
So, just to play devil's advocate, and take the side that nobody has taken yet:
If you were rich, you could hire smart people to do your thinking for you. Also, you might be able to enjoy your riches more if you were stupid than if you were smart, because you wouldn't feel guilty about having so much when so many people have so little. If you were stupid, you would never even notice that, so it wouldn't bother you, and you would be happier.

u dont have to be dumb to be rich and u dont have to be smart to be poor, u can be both.. but u can use ur brains to be rich, unfortunately u need the opportunaty to be rich,, but smart alone wont get u anywhere.. thats the problem!

smart, because if you're smart you can get rich. if you're born rich, doesn't mean that you're smart or you'll ever be one.

smart that way i can work my way up to being rich by getting a good job being rich only lasts once
