LOL, merlin. I wouldn't mind losing a point just because I stubbornly like to wish you a happy birthday. I think I will lose another one as I had responded to a wedding anniversary thread a while ago.

I have opened my cards and presents (although it was a bit difficult to wrap the car which we got a while ago but is partly for my birthday) now I am off to work. We will go out to celebrate tomorrow. Thanks for your kind wishes. I will be in during the day tomorrow and you are welcome to hop on over - I will get the lager chilling.

Happy birthday to you,magicalmerlin!It's a good time day.And in Chinese we say Baby's birth,Mother's disaster.So say Love to your mother,you will fell much happier.Yes,like you just saying,join someone is also an enjoying thing.So why not?

I am actually feeling much happier than this discussion sounded. I have to go to work now so will do more celebrating tomorrow and make it last. I got quite a lot of cards and good wishes. That is one reason I don't mind working on my birthday. Thank you very much for taking the time to wish me well and pass on your saying - so true.

Aw, this has really made my day great. I knew there are loads of great members on MyLot. I did not mean it to but it sounded such a negative discussion. I am going to work now so they can wish me a happy birthday too whilst eating my cream cakes.

I was feeling rebellious and like I can do no wrong as it is my special day. Hope it stays so you get paid. Thank you for taking the time to reply. See there are still some other birthday links here and always loads with affiliate links. I hope it stays long enough so that I can visit all of your discussions to help you too. Have to go to work now and hand out the cream cakes - who started that tradition? They should be buying me drinks! Cheers!

Thank you for the yummy cake. It is always good to make a birthday last longer. My husband and I had a quite night out together which makes a lovely change.

I did have a great time. I went to work as well which was ok as they had got me a card and lots of people had signed it.
