"Atheists, why not believe in god so that you won't go to hell...?

I think people should just be left to believe whatever they damn well please. Afterall, God is a man-made concept and don't even get me started on the hundreds of religions in the world. There is nothing wrong in believing in God as a provider and a security blanket and what not. There is equally nothing wrong in not believing in God as long as you believe in yourself!

I am an atheist. I am not a bad person, I do not commit any crimes, or cause harm to anyone, I live my life morally, but I do not follow a religious faith. I think it would be extremely hypocritical of me to call myself religious; for example, if I said I was a Christian just for fear of going to Hell, I think this would be offensive and rude to people who actually follow Christianity as a way of life. I would be insulting their beliefs, and surely if there was such a thing as God and heaven, then He would know about it since he is all-knowing and all-powerful, and I'd go to Hell anyway? I think it would be patronizing of me to try to passs myself off as a religious person, trying to pull the wool over other people's eyes, and it would not be fair. I am happy living my life as an atheist, and if I can accept someone's reasons for choosing to follow religion, then I'm sure they can accept my reasons for choosing not to do so.

Sometime deception might lead someone who have have weak mindset to good path yea .... so i do think sometimes in the name god someone is bringing them to the right ways ... for me i always believe in myself no matter what happends yea

all we need do is to pray for them, so that god will touch their heart of stone and cause them to know him.
