Do You Think People Begin Discussions Here Just To Get Attention or Responses?

Isn't it quite the same for everyone? Everyone starts discussion to get either attention or responses. Everyone without fail. Let me explain. If you are here to chat, it means you want conversation. This means you want attention. And if no one responds to you, you are not getting any conversation. So you want both attention and responses. If you are here just to rant, you want attention too. If you are just talking to a wall that does not respond, you are not going to be happy after ranting (though you will still feel better). So really, you want attention and responses too. If you are here for the money, well, discussions that do not have responses do not get paid. So you definitely want responses. And the more attention you get, the more responses you might have. And so, you want both attention and responses. So to your question, yes, EVERYONE without fail starts discussion to get attention and responses. Let me know if there is a flaw in my logic. :P I love a friendly debate too, but I hate it when things spiral out of hands and we start calling names. That would be a lose-lose situation.

I am here for posting feelings and reactions on my own thoughts .. I would not mind if no responses are received for a particular discussion . It is some kind of exchange of notions and ideas that we are here for ...I feel so .

I think some are looking for the topic that interest them and if the topic doesn't interest them they may not want to discuss it or have nothing to say, but I often go to the one that I am interested in.

I think people don't read other topics and don't search if there is another one about that issue before posting their own. They just post whatever they want without sometimes taking a look if it already exists. When I want to ask something I search to see if there is already a question about it to avoid double posting. I also think there are already many topics... so people don't know what to say to earn a little bit more so they post it again.

its a relive to get the load out of your self same times , also you could find an answer to your prablom that you had never thought off

Though people, who make discussions here, have different approach and different intentions, but i believe they get a lot of informations and also share their experiences,otherwise they would had never interacted so much in life time.

Yah wacthit - I watched many topics is similar just a few word is change. We 96,000 people in mylot community may be from different country but from one God we created so our mind is asking to know similar question. Moreover it is not possible for us to check all topics at a time so topic may similar to one another. Ofcourse somebody start similar topic seeing its huge response and someone start topics from his/her own mind without seeing others topic. This is common that our mind have same thrust to know from others. Also we are suffering topic crisis due to huge discussions already here from past so from where everyone will get new topics. As mylot pay us for starting discussions and responding discussions and we almost all are here for money making so I hardly bother common topic just response for point and earning. What to do exceptional here? Can anyone suggest what other things we may start here? Mylot admin. thought if and started competition of video and banner just to divert repeated topics to other creative work and creative merit.

Hello,wachit14,I am not sure what do people think when they are starting some sensitive issues,may be they just like to have good discussions with other members or just like what you said. It is normal for a member to start some 'hot topics'after they have replied to them,as they may have more thoughts after that and just want to share their thoughts on the same topics with their friends,hence they start another one. It should be fine as long as they are not copy and paste stuff and follow the discussion guidelines.

I think when many people start a new discussion,he don't look of search for other topics like his.And,he may want to make money only.

Hi,wachit14! Obviously,some Mylotters here just start discussioins for attention and responses but others are not only for this purpose. I have read so many discussions here and most of them are about assortments of questions such as "what gift is proper for the wedding anniversary".That's to say,Mylotters here want not only the responses and attentions but also the useful tips from others. For me,I started a discussion about how to deal with old-fashioned clothes and Mylotters gave me efficient suggestions.That's great.
