Each month the Federal Citizens Information Center has a different theme to educate the public on. This month‘s theme is not yet published The theme for May 2007 is “Dear Abby - Health”. As a way to get the public more aware of Women’s Health. The FDA has created a Kit to be distributed to make women more aware in many areas. This kit contains pamphlets on the following: Allergies Asthma Cholesterol : Medicines to Help you Depression: Medicines to Help You Diabetes Food Safety at home Heart Disease High Blood Pressure: Medicines to help you Listeria Mammography Sleep Disorders Smoking: Medicines to help you Strokes Sunscreens West Nile Virus All of these pamphlets come in the women’s health kit and are free including postage. They will be adding the month of June any day now so if you are interested in this one, you should order it right away. To order it, simply fill our the form on the site and they will mail it to you free of charge. You can order more than one kit at a time. http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/rc/d57.htm Supplies are limited. This information has been compiled by the government at taxpayers expense, so in reality, we are paying for it. Aren’t we? They also still have a Retirement Prep kit available here http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/rc/n60retirementprep.htm They also have a wonderful kids site. I was just amazed at the wonderful stuff that they have for kids to do. It is run and kept up by the government. Here is the link to that. You really do need to check this out. It is great. http://www.kids.gov/ Don’t forget to sign up for the free newsletter while you are there. You may want to tour the site for information that is available on many different subjects while you are there. They also have other kits available but quanities are limited on them also. http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/media-promo.htm Dont forget to order your 2007 Consumer Action Handbook while you are there. Here is the link for that: http://www.consumeraction.gov/caw_orderhandbook.shtml

I have been spending so much time on gather lately that I have been negelecting mylot. I pulled up my witing files and thought I had better share some with mylot too. I have been told that my discussions are too long but I dont feel comfortable writing a couple questions and submitting them. If someone is interested enough to read my discusisons, I think they should come away with some knowledge not just a waste of their time.

Fooey on whoever said your discussions are too long. I always enjoy reading what you have to say. I might not always make a comment, but I do read them. You keep on doing what you do.

I always spend alot of time on my discussions. I have been told that my discussions are too long but I dont feel comfortable writing a couple questions and submitting them as a discussion. If someone is interested enough to read my discusisons, I think they should come away with some knowledge not just a waste of their time. Thanks for your comment. Have a wonderful night
