Choice Of School For Your Son Or Daughter College Education

In your son or daughter college education, are you the one who chose the college or university he or she will enroll in, or do you give them the freedom to chose for themselves ?

My children will have the freedon to choose their direction as far as school goes. I believe once they reach 18 they are legal to vote, therefore they should have a say in their own future and what direction they would like to go in life, this includes choosing their college/universaity. My only wish for them is to be happy in what ever career choice they make and that they will be happy in doing what they do.

I think a college education is very important. I've let mine choose which college they want to go to, because I want it to be their decision so they will hopefully like it. And, then they can't blame me for making them go to one and them not like it.
