How long did it take you to complete and is it for yourself or for sell or giving away? Did it cost a lot more in materials than you wanted to spend?

My project - Not complete yet.........
The largest project I ever completed took 34 weeks to complete. The first part of the project anyway. Its for myself, and it was a girl, weighing in at 4 lbs 13 oz, length 17 inches........But, its not complete just yet, there are still at least 16 years to go!!!

Congratulations and good luck in the future with your "project". I was refering more to projects that are not that "personal" though.

This biggest project I have completed was 5 X 7 Cross-Stitched Angel I did for my grandparents. I am currently working on a medieval lady who is 16 X 14. Its the first piece that I am doing that is for me. It was one of my new years resolutions. To cross-stitch something for myself for a change.

The largest project was crocheting a blanket for my daughters queen size bed. I thought it would never end. It's a project I do not plan to do ever again.

I crocheted a queen sized afghan for my ex-boyfriend (before he was my ex). Surprisingly, it didn't take that long to make, because I was using three strands of yarn held together and a massive hook. Also, I didn't have to spend anything on the materials, because a friend had given me a bunch of old yarn, including some obnoxiously bright orange, which was my ex's favorite color.
