Alexandra Neil (Paige), who joined the cast in October 2004, leaves at the end of July. The departure is storyline-dictated. Chris Beetem (Tate), who joined the show in February, will leave the show this summer. He was said to be quite upset at the news of his "firing," though insiders say the role was always expected to be short-term. Look for a dramatic exit for the ballplayer-turned- arsonist. Randolpth Mantooth, who plays Tate's dad, Kirk, is also on his way out.

I knew neither would be here long , they just didn`t fit in ...
Why is Paige leaving though , I am just getting used to her .
At first I didn`t care for her but she like all the others grow on a person ...
I seen todays episode where Bo had Tate's dad in for questioning and arrested him and just like that I thought Tate was setting his dad up for his crimes out of spite ...
Should be interesting ....

I wasn`t real keen on them either but , do you hink Bo will end up with Lindsey again I saw them today with the baby I thought they were great together ...

Oh no. I don't want Randolph mantooth to leave. I just got back into the show because of him. But then again, I wasn't really thrilled with the part he has been playing. I wonder what he will do now.

I read yesterday in one of my soap magazines that they are going to link Tate to the One People arsons that have been going on in Lainview but not before his father is accused of it and he makes his last arson before he is caught, I think that is how they are going to write him out. I never really liked the Tate character and would be glad to see him leave with all his manipulitive ways.
