Do you go to free concerts?

We get special people here to do free concerts and if they are on friday or Saturday night we go. We also take granddaugghter so loves to dance. Las night we went to see an Elvis impersonator and he was very very good I could close my eyes and here the voice would sound just like him .But open eyes he did look much like elvis . BUt he did put on a great 3 hours show with intermissions for the laserlight show we have on Freemont street here in Vegas. During these he would take pics with the people and just satnd and talk to you very nice person and I think Elvis did this in the begoinging too. The laser shows were great too. There is 12.5 millions lights in the display and they had one on area 51 last night! All was very enjoyable and we didnt get home till midnight and so today was a lazy sleep in day lol

I want to pack my bags and fly to Vegas... We have many free concerts here, Chicago is well known for summer blues free concerts...

I like the free bluegrass concerts the hold in parks around the country only went to one in Fort Drum Fl. years ago but had lots of fun aint it great to live in a big town so we get these free ones!

Sounds like you had a great time.I wish I was there to see Elvis impersonator . We will be going to vegas the first week in August and we stay downtown right on freemont street My husband and I, and sister and her husband stay at the plzza.The light show is great I love watching it.I just cant wait untill August, Do you know of anything that will be going on at this time? We try to get to vegas at least twice a year.

No I don't go to anything like that at all as I only ever went once I collapsed because I am claustrophobic so I could not breathe in that Crowd

I usually go to outdoor concerts that are in the evening in the summer. Those are very relaxing and I like the atmosphere there. :)

yup so I did and it is great to get to go to these concerts and we only have a few miles to go to get to town so with gas prices it is worth it I just feel bad some people dont have concerts close to their town

living far beyond their town isn't that enjoyable to avail for a FREE concert... but i guess they have a fairly good talents to show to their barrio and make some entertainment themselves... lol

Yes-- our town also puts on free concerts at the park- Every saturday in the summer- We go to as many as we can when we aren't busy- It's kind of nice- Sometimes we stay for the whole thing sometimes we don't. My daughter is 10-- and she sometimes is like- mom this stinks- lol... I also take her to the free mall concerts- when the performers are teenagers- these are a riot!

Every year on the weekend after Labor day, they have free concerts in Marion, Ohio. Two years ago, I saw Foreigner and a few years back I saw Styx. It is at a festival called Marion Popcorn Festival. It is outrageous! So much fun!

I wish we had something like that around here. We occasionally have one of our local singers or bands doing something in the gazebo out on the courthouse lawn, but that is about as close as it comes in our small community.

There isn't anything even close to us, we are in the middle of nowhere, and even the towns within 50 miles or more aren't very big. It does sound like fun though.

Every Summer, our local park does free concerts every Friday night. Last year was the first time that my husband and I went. Everyone brings their lawn chairs or blankets and just hang out. Each week there is a different band playing. They play music from long ago and music that is also up to date. It's a nice variety.

Hey LKo, Yeah I love those laser shows too-we went to 'em for a 2 years in a row 4th of July in Augusta,GA. I think free concerts are great @ the theme parks & county fairs too even if the band is unkown it gives 'em a chance to live out their dream when they hear that applause. +'s 2 You :D

wow! that sounds fun to me! the king lives!lol. from time to time it is nice just to walk in and enjoy any show for that matter.here in the philippines, with all my connections since i was with the entertainment and marketing industry, i get to watch and see most of the shows for free, i just have to show my face then they would let me in. I have to take advantage of that privelege. having a face value is fun!

Sounds like it is fantastic honey! we do get some free shows at christmas and things but they are outdoors and it is usually freezing cold windy and raining! If I were there I would make the most of it! xxx

oh we do and it is outside only covere is what hold up the lazerlights like a big bridge over head adn its hot here now boy can ya sweat! In winter not to bad but cam get hold

there are only some free concerts here and i don't get to know about them at the right time or i am busy so i don't go to free concerts
