Do you use your vehicle for a short distance?

I do not use my vehicle for going to short distance i.e. within half a mile. I feel always, walking is good for health. When the distance is more than 1 mile I take my vehcile, even, sometime I go by walking to the place. What do you do, you use your vehicle for short distance also or take a walk to that place.

whenever i go to buy some day to day item like vegetables or some grocery, i always walk down to the shop nearby and try avoiding use of vehicle.
after all, we too should contribute to the betterment of the environment, as far as we can.

I do use my vehicle in summer ever for shorter distance because of heat and in cars one have Air Conditioner for that kind of weather yeah i do walk for shorter distances when the weather is much more pleasant.

well I live about 45 minutes from town. So I do have to use my vehicle to go do some shopping or such. Where I am at, I just walk. The area is so quiet and peaceful and I can just go look at the lake and enjoy the peace. I don't need a vehicle for that.
