I don't think I can. I haven't tried this at home because I'm afraid of the dark but in the dorms at my college, I had to walk to my bed in the dark because my roommate was sleeping. I was knocking over shelves and running into dressers And I ended up waking her up anyways. Haha, I guess when we rely on our revision, we literally are blind when we can't see anything.

Well it depends on how dark the room is or the home is. if only electricity of my home is not working or street lights are working or not or if lights in neighbouring street is fine or if it is full moonlight. Besides when house is dark for sometime I get used to darkness thanfully and as i have fair idea of where what items are and where i should be moving about so it seems to work for me.LOL.

I think it should be largely possible. After all, I have stayed where I am for quite some time. But I wouldn't want to do that since I might hurt myself or knock over some vase lol. :P

Hi, mymytri. Yes, I should be able to do this. This week I was able to put my fan cord in the right socket without the lights being on. I was able to feel myself around our bedroom. Yes, it is very possible to guess and touch things in your home when it is dark.

No, I can't do that. i wish I could. But my kids move things on me all the time. (Which I hate). So I tend to leave a small light on. So I can see when going through the house. I use to playthat same game when I was a child. It was alot of fun. Got alot of bruised knees and elbows from doing it. But it was well worth the play time.

I would be lost without some form of light. I have never even thought about it. I think its a great idea to know where what items are located in the event of power outages.

It's so sad....I know where each and every item is in my home. But when I have to get up in the middle of the night and make my way through the house, I will smack my leg on something every single time! LOL I prefer to turn a light on now. Less bruises that way.

Hello mymytri. I've been living in the same house for 8 years now and pretty much familiar with all my surroundings. I didn't played games like you when I was a little girl because I was afraid of darkness during that time. If there's a sudden black out, I can easily find my way inside my house. I know which way to go to get my emergency light or candles.

Hi, mymytri, by staying in the same house for the last 10 years I can reach any place in a pitch dark and take out things easily. I think most of the people can do this in case they stay in the same house for a long time.

I have dizzy spells which are worse in the dark so I have to keep some sort of low light going at all time. I sleep with a night light on due to that. The dark does not scare me or bather me. I cannot play that game bacause I would fall down before I made it down the hallway. LOL

I can get around in our house in darkness which I've done many times on my way to bed. It's not the dark that scares me, it's the toys I might have left on the floor. That hurts when you step on one of those!

I memorized all the sides and everything about my home, if where do i have to get the things i want especially in the dark. Our house isn't really that big not to memorize. I have been here since birth and we seldom change the furnitures' from where they belong.

Well this one is easy for me. I have a younger (50) brother that is completely blind. As this is the case I have learned in the past how to be "blind". I walk around sometimes in my house/yard with my eyes closed pretending to be blind. Why I do this is beyond my understanding. I just do it ever so often. So I know my way around and know what things are by feel easily. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

nope. i really hate it when it's dark. i do know where to go or what to do in case of a black out. but still when it's really dark and i can't see anything. i do nothing, i just stay where i am and be on a still position until the lights gets back up.

I like having light but I am used to knowing where everything is in the dark now. When I move into my new house, I'll have to get used to a whole other place.:)
