I have no sense of direction at all and I can't even read maps. I don't always get lost luckily because I would study the map really hard or ask someone beforehand. But I do feel annoying that I can't really read the maps properly and even when I read it, I seem to not really know where I am or how I am going to get to my destination. How bad is that? I wish I were better at directions. All my friends are really good at directions and usually they are with me when going out, so I don't really need to "think".

If I am concentrating then my navigation skills are perfect, but if I have a lot on my mind, I often find myself talking to myself and then I end up on the wrong bus or train lol. I don't do it often but it has happened on occasions of acute pressure and stress. So I don't like going out much when I am stressed lol.

I am horrible with directions! I grew up in a small town, and never really needed to venture into the "big city" on my own. So, when it came time to go to college, I was lucky to get to go close to home and did ok. My biggest problem is that I get all mixed up with NSEW, and then I can get turned around easily! I am getting a little bit better after 20 years of driving, but still I have issues with directions, getting and giving them.

The sense of direction is my achilles heel. It seems taht I can never point to the right direction in my life.No matter how hard I tried to follow the right direction, I always ended up with losing my way. But I have a good method to solve this problem. that is: it is not difficult for me to return back to the start point by tracking back to the way by which I came from. lol...

I am afraid that I have a very poor sense of direction, always have. My parents believed it to be a case of inattention - but I don't think so - I think it is something that you are either born with or not. As I get older I think it has gotten worse as my memory is getting weaker as the years go by.
