I am at a loss for words!

I have been on mylot all day. I cannot think of anything to write about, and I cannot find anything I want to reply to. It is driving me crazy. I am trying to wrack my brain to come up with an interesting topic, but I cannot do it today. Have you ever had them days, where you were at a loss for words? Have you even gotten irratated with yourself if you cannot find an interesting topic or discussion? What do you do if you are at a loss for words? Do you leave and come back later, or do you just hang around and keep checking the discussions to see if maybe you will find one that interests you?

I kinda have the same at the moment i cannot think of something and i know the best thing for me is to leave it like that for a couple of days and i will come up with something. I also have those days when i really don't like any discussions so i just leave my lot that day and check next day.

Jenifer I think u shud stop working on mylot for some days and shud take some rest so that you can recharge ur self with new type of ideas and then start working on mylot again . Ur whole day working is totally responsible for ur loss of wordds u need some gud ideas and sthoughts to start discussions and to respond other's discussions.

I do have those days in fact quite often. Today is actually a good day for me on here (finding stuff to comment on and ways to start dicussions). I like to try at least to get ten comments a day, but usually that just doesn't happen. Which kind of makes me sad cause all I have is a little goal. lol

You have lost your words, I lost my sense of words and security. Whatever I say, there is group of people capable of non-stop vicious harrassment. I am with you, sometimes we have days with no directions and sense. Maybe we should talk about sunshine and great friends here on mylot? Take care, hugs..:)

I've had a lot of these days lately. I think maybe part of that may be that it's summer vacation (well, for the kids anyway). I'm a stay at home mom, so my job starts when the kids are out of school, and our house is where all the kids hang out. I'm too exhausted from keeping up with them to think. Some times I try to come here to relax, then I get frustrated, even when I see something I know I'd like to respond to, I can't seem to write much that makes any sense. I enjoy looking around and at least read the posts of others.

I have had many a days like this on mylot. I try and try and just can not think of any discussion to start up. As I would scroll down the many new discussions that were just started I could not find one that caught my eye to respond to. I normally leave and come back later to see if there is anything that I would like to respond, which most often then not there is nothing. So, I just end up calling a day and start over the next day.

Yeah I always get writers block. But then I take some time to sit back and think about something to say. But I always come up with something new to say. I think today is just a lazy monday and that is why you are at a loss for words lol. Plus after being on mylot so long we run out of things to talk about.

Writer's block from you Jennifer? I don't believe it! You always seem to have the ability to melt your keyboard. haha. I spend a bit of time going to my friends and referrals profile pages and contributing to some of their topics where I can say something sensible or alternatively, something so outrageously rediculous that it is funny.

I normally look at my heart for answers. Often it comes from my family or things I've done in the day. If you take a look around a room you'll see something which brings back a memory which would make an interesting discussion or you could share you day. Just a few ideas, I really am random so I do get things from all over the place. Kudos! ~Joey

Jennifer, you are not alone especially today. I have had the same problem today. I am normally good at doing 20 to 30 responses a day, but today I think I have maybe done 10. There just doesn't seem like there is anything interesting today. I normally get irritated and then just leave and come back later. At least thats what I did today, but things aren't much better now than they were this morning. Best of luck to you!

Hi Jennifer, That usually happens to me after a long day at work, or if I have been on the computer for too long. At that point i will usually go for a walk at the waterfron and hopefully come back refreshed. Nine times out of ten that seems to wok for me. cheers,

I hang up and come back later because i know when you exceed yourself in anything it will make you weak and dull so its better to give a normal amount of time on mylot everyday and live your life happy i have been involved so much in the beginning but then when i find myself irritated so i left the site for few day's to get some topics from myself ..... so i could make some genuine discussions from my own mind .........

Sounds like you reached overload that day. Take a break. Come back later. Things that interest you then may be the same things you looked at before. But your perspective may be very different. Read the newspaper or a magazine or talk to someone for a while. Switch gears. It helps.

Of course everybody does feel the same way as you do sometimes so I suggest you should freshen up your mind by going to park and have some fresh aire eat at a very cozy restaurant , you don't have to spend much...just buy a bottle of mineral water...that's it your main purpose of going their is to enjoy the ambiance and unwind....if possible you invite a friend to accompany you or your dog or your cat anything and when you get back booommm...you'll have so many fresh ideas.

Yip I know what you mean, however, I do find something to say even if it is just a small comment to make the person know that I am thinking of them... I just seem to be battling to find the time these days to log on and do my thing here... otherwise I love being here on mylot...

If I can't find anything to discuss about I just go over into discussions in my interest and reply to each topics that interest me until I have an idea so I post it promptly. :)
