movies,tv-killing books ?

do you think like that? well i used to read a lot during my school days and now also i read when i get time.But the new generation is only interested in movies,pc games and tv shows.Is it the movies or the tv to be blamed or is it the parents who should be blamed for this..I think one will never get the same feeling while we get by reading while watching movies.Also i think it allows to imagine a lot about the characters and all..So what you think mylotters?
