A lot of people I know delay their honeymoons, because they're too busy at work to take time off, or because finances are tight, or because planning one big do is enough stress for anyone. The best part of the wedding is getting to go away afterward. I did not go for my honeymoon because I didnt think it was important or necessary. So, did you go for your honeymoon? Did you plan and save your money to go for a honeymoon? Will you consider a second honeymoon?

We didn't go on a honeymoon nor did we plan for one. Even though we were living in Samoa at the time, we had our wedding in New Zealand and we stayed an extra week to spend time with family and friends instead. We were given monetary gifts mostly as wedding presents which we used to set up house in Samoa. Maybe in the future we might go for one or else it will be just a family vacation with our son :)

Even though i am not married, but I think people should go for their honeymoon especially for arrange marriage. It is not necessary to spend huge money. Its help to understand & know each other.

I never went on a honeymoon with my first husband. He was to cheap to do anything like that. But I did go on a honeymoon with my current husband. We stayed in a hotel for three days. I ended up using my income tax money to pay for it. Or it wouldn't happened. But it was well worth it. I do wish to go on a second honeymoon some day. But since we have small kids. I really don't see that happening any time soon.

Now I am too old. With knee pain, bp, sugar and all cannot run around like before. So no interest for second honeymoon.

Oh! Thanks a lot for selecting my response as Best. I and my husband enjoyed together this Best Response with his broken and fused knee and my paining knee. So this way we enjoyed our honeymoon in our house.

no I did not go on a honeymoon after we got married, we really didn't have enough time. We both had to work, then we had to plan for him to leave for Iraq and we are hoping to be able to do something when he comes back home. At least I hope that we can, we maybe be busy moving to another base at that time!

honeymoon is very important for newlyweds, it is a signature of being married and it is some sort of a sign that you were together for love and not just a marriage for convenience.because of our materialistic ways ,we have forgotten the real values in life.

Honey moon is a nice idea. In India where marriages are aranged by th families it has special aignificance. The couple can understand each other and develop intimacy between. However I did not go on any honey moon at my times. Financial hardship was the reason. Afterwards we went to many places which can be considered late honeymoon trips. Thank you ellie.

My husband and I married after a very short time, just three months from our first date. We didn't really have the money to spend, but we went on a little honeymoon anyways. It wasn't anything big or elaborate; we went to a bed and breakfast inn just twenty minutes from were we lived and stayed for 3 days. We enjoyed it so much. We both have kids from previous relationships, so getting to spend some time alone together and really get to know each other was great.

I believe you should have a honeymoon. It need not be expensive. A honeymoon is your own private celebration of your marriage. A second, third or more honeymoons should be considered. It's said that it will help keep the flame of love alive in the relationship. So go on a honeymoon ellie26...it will be good for you and your husband to spend time together.
