at wat age were u first exposed to internet???

Today Internet is a inevitable world to us. But it was not so around 6 years back. I first was exposed to it by one of my senior in 2001. He made me aan email ID on yahoo. I heard about yahoo then but what actually email is and what internet is I didn't knew practically before that. It was really amazing to me to see I am sending a message and it delivers within a second. So fast. After that I continued to surf everyday going through different sites and later done some course to learn more. My first site was obviously yahoo.com. And that email ID I still maintain as my first and primary mail ID.

i was exposed to the net at the age of 15..tats wen i first got my computer..for geting good grades in school hehehe..internet is sooo vast i was truely fascinated by it.. n now i can say im almost addicted to it

I do believe I was 30 years old before I ever used the internet myself. my father had it for a few years before that, but I never tried it out.

Ya its true ..with internet being soooo much into our daily life. I guess its high time we remembered when we first visited the net. I guess i was in 9th grade when i first visited internet.Cant remember the sites but it was yahoo and hotmail basically. It has been more than 5 yrs now that i have been hooked to the internet and this world still facinates me.

at the age of 14. i use it for leisure then. now as i'm studying in university, i use internet for searching informations for my assignments, file tranfering with my friends, n hcving discussion online...can't live without intternet.........

I first went on the Internet when I was 15 and the first site that I visited was yahoo.com.

My dad brought home his first computer when I was 6 (21 years ago!). It was one of those big honking 1 piece machines with a tiny little screen that was green. No Windows back then! I don´t remember when exactly he got into the internet, but it was shortly after that. I was too young to really understand at the time, but he had a big old modem that he would have to hang the phone handset on. At the time, internet didn´t really exist, it was just one computer calling another. So that was my first experience, seeing my dad getting files off other people´s computers. (He accidentally entered the FBI computer once!) I didn´t get into the internet until it was a bit more advanced, when I was about 12. Then my dad and I would go online and chat. We would look up stuff for school sometimes, but it was still nothing like it is now.

I first was exposed to online when I was 31, now so you understand, I had already had a personal computer for over 10 years, but not online, and I connected on a C=64 to networks called Q-link and Genie. Q-link didn't connect to the internet but Genie did. I always had a couple of BBS lines that I would connect to. Back then you were limited to 1200 baud modems and a couple hour a day. Forget about any graphics beyond ASCII. It was nothing like today but it was the best thing going at the time. That was 18 years ago, and now am surfing high speed on my laptop and enjoying unlimited time online. As to my first site I surfed, it was Q-link, which was a commodore version of AOL. It was worldwide and had chat and email and all the forums and games. It started my passion for the internet and online.
