Limits?

Okay now I am really stumped here. I do add a lot of photos as my friends now. I even run outside after reading a discussion to take a photo juist for that discussion. Anyhow I try to keep track of how many I upload and add so I can keeep a few for discussioons late at night if needed. The problem is I can not for the life of me figure this out as to the true limit. I've heard 20, 29, 15 etc. Well today I did about 7 or so then it said I reacehed my maximum for the day. This was at 1:30 CDT. It's now 5:25 CDT and I uploaded/added 17 photos and I again get the maximum statement? How can I reach the max in 4 hours time? It was 17 as I wrote them each down. Thats after 7 in discussions and interest groups. Any ideas on the total amount allowed at all? I sent a contact form to mylot but we know how long that takes some times.

I have written them twice but they ignored me. But are you sure you still want to upload pictures? I would be scared sh*tless by now since they suspending my account (your) only just recently.

I am not worried about the photos. They are all ones I have
taken and they are MINE! So I don't worry abiout another layoff
or vacation. They know the types of pics I post. Thanks bud!

They talk in the FAQ section about waiting a day to upload more pics if you get 'maximum' warning.
I guess you have found out the max for a day. haha

HAHAHA! There hasn't been any help yet i n here it seems.
Everyones lost. I now can upload more photos. So this is
the 4th time I could reach the max in a 24 hour day.
Eerie to say the least.

I've given up trying to figure out how Mylot work these things out. I had heard about the photo limits before, but I've never heard of someone hitting their maximum level TWICE in ONE day. That's pretty crazy!
From what you say too, it looks as though you were allowed to post more photos the second time than you were the first. That has me totally stumped.
I wish you good luck in getting an answer from mylot admin about this lol. You should have your answer in ohhh, about a week or so :P

Twice? hey I got the max message 3 times actually. Unreal.
But I did make good money for photo's yesterday. HAHAHAHA!!!

I know the answer as I do photos every day. For instance, yesterday I uploaded my photos around noon. I probably finished around 12:30. If I try to upload anything before 12:30 today I will be at my max. If I upload at a quicker rate today than I did yesterday, I will be informed I am at my max. Usually if you hold off a minute or two, you can continue. Below a 9 star I think you are allowed 20 a day. 30 for 9-10 stars, as far as I know.

Well an answer finally. Hope you're correct. I did around 45 in
a 24 hour span yesterday and was given the statement, you've
reached the max...." So who knows. Oh well. Thanks for sure bud.

Maybe it has to do with how much memory each pic takes up, that is all I can figure. I have seen similar questions from other people. I do not think I will ever post enough to max out my limits. Good luck. Maybe we each should ask them the same question, so they would put it in the guidelines.

You know I thought I had this down to a science, even did a discussion on it, from uploading photos, everyday, for one full month the most I could upload on a daily basis, at the same time everyday, was 29 photos. Then I heard what happened to you and was told it was because of photos be uploaded that I quit doing it, which has truly cut into my earnings daily, they are still at about $1 a day but they were about $140 a day when I was uploading.

iT WASN'T THE AMOUNT OF PHOTOS THAT i GOT LAID OFF FOR. iT WAS AN INVESTIGATION INTO ABUSE BY MEMBERS. mORE THAN LIKELY COpyright infringement I think. But trying to figure this and the pay rate here you do need to be a rocket scientist it seems. Anyhow hope to get an answer somewhere about this.

I know that in the last 24 hours I probably did maybe
40 photos. But today I have reached max two (2) times
already. That's where I am lost in this aspect. Grrr!!

Truth to tell, grandpa, I have no idea if there is a limit to the number of photos allowable to upload each day. From what I can decipher, you can start uploading photos once you reached 500 posts.
I was perplexed that there is a friend on my list who was banned for the reason of uploading too many photos each day. I think it is better to wait for mylot to reply back to you.

I am as lost as you are with this one Grandpa Bob! I do not know the limit but I think it is something like 15 pics in a 24 hour period. Could be that you are uploading them and then the time period ends and begins anew for the next set. I also noticed that when mylot updates our earnings in the a.m. the photos that we uploaded don't get updated until about an hour after our earnings do. I will be watching this discussion to see if any one really knows for sure1

No idea grandpa.But i see earnings from photos are fluctuating. when i add good heading and description am earning more.for small i think it is less.But i dont know how many mylotters are responding to the discussion for the photos and can we earn money for responding and commenting to photos.I am not uploading photos now becoz i have slow internt conncetion and just depend on my discussions .I really wonder how do you get maximum statement more than once.May be there will be some problem..right :).

This is getting stranger and stranger now. I just reached my 3rd yes THIRD max for photo posting today. I just uploaded anopther 10 photos in the last hour and maxed out once again. Oh well. Give it an hour and I'll try and see if I can get into uploading a 4th time today.

Maybe the rules have change since some people have been breaking the rules on mylot. I have not idea. I do love your photos.

Oddly enough I had no idea there was a limit on the amount of photos you could upload. I guess I better go read the FAQ's cause I bet there is a lot more that I dont know. But I would like to thank you posting this cause now I know. ;-)

I didn't realise there was a limit. I will do some digging and see what I can find out.
