Which do you prefer using? Liquid laundry softener or dryer sheets? 99% of the time I use dryer sheets because I can never remember to add the liquid to the washer. I used to use the Downy Ball but ended up accidentally throwing it into the dryer with the clothes and it caused a huge mess.

sheets for the same reason-i never remember to catch that cycle. my grandmother used to have a machine that had a reservoir for fabric softener-it auto released.i haven't seen one of those in a while.

I use both the liquid softners and the sheets. When I want extra smeeling nice clothes. I use the liquid softener. If it doesn't matter i than use the dryer sheets. But it aklways has to be the brand Gian. If not, I don't us eit. Also when I am low on money I will the dryer sheet because they are cheaper and I can get more cycles out of them.

We use dryer sheets, though I have to remember to put them into the dryer. If I forget, though, we end up with really static-y clothes.

i prefer dryer sheets more than liquid softeners like downy, comfort and the likes coz for one the softening effect seems like longer with sheets, two the scent (especially bounce sunrise/sunshine) lasts way longer than liquids and lastly the somewhat oily feel and yellowing of white clothes/towels when using some of d branded liquid softeners for a long period. here in the Manila, dryer sheets is much more expensive than liquids but i don't mind the extra cash for the extra benefits! =)

I only use Melaleuca Mela-Soft liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets. I use both - the liquid softener adds a fresh scent to the laundry and softens the clothes while the dryer sheets help to cut down on static cling.

I like the convience of dryer sheets but I don't like the way they soften the clothes. I find that with liquid the clothes are softer and the smell last longer than with the sheets. I also hang dry a lot of our clothes so liquid is best for that hence the not using the dryer part. I do use the downy ball (with snuggle softener lol) but thankfully I have yet to toss it in the dry. Knock on wood I hope that never happens. I can only imagine the horrible mess for both the clothes and the dry.
