my sad computer addiction

my computer died last week and i have been without a computer until yesterday, actually. how sad is it that i just didnt know what to do with myself? i work on the computer so it was killing me not having it. and man was i out of the loop. how sad!! i felt as if someone took one of my arms...lol. but now i am back online, thankfully!! so life can resume again the way it was...lol.
i missed all the great discussions so now i am going to catch up a bit..lol

I'd be the very same way....when I moved and didn't have internet connection for a week, I stopped at the local library a few times to at least catch up on email...

i went to my friends house daily and i felt so bad to bother them like that. they didnt care but i did. i am glad to be able to do what i need to on the computer at home once again.

LOL-- I feel this way too- I hate being without the computer- I try to keep attention into my friends lives through mylot- I also love to surf and keep in touch with others through e-mail. I am lucky enough to have a computer at work that I can use when mine craps at home- I hope it doesn't though for a while- it's new. glad to see you are back!

You know I know how you feel. I had to send my computer to be serviced and it killed me also. I was doing everything I could to keep busy. I swear you can only clean your house so much.

lol..i cleaned a lot more often too while my computer was down..lol. made me think of all the free time i would have with no computer. i found myself just pacing a lot between cleaning and stuff..lol. i am glad to have my computer back!!!

I don't just suffer, I go nuts when and if I'm without my computer. Call it an addiction, neurotic behavior, what-have-you. But I finally found something (the Internet) which I wholeheartedly enjoy, it's fun and it helps me to make money. Take away an avid reader's books, and he'd feel the same.

i understand completely. you are right, it is fun and many make money off of it. so why not be upset when it isnt working? i am happy now that i am back online. it was rough going to others houses to check my email.

I know the feeling, mine dd the same the other week and I was not a happy bunny, although have lots of othe things to do I missed my computer as I woud ldo an old freind, it was like my washing machine breaking down, I was so upset. Glad to see up and running now and you back with us at mylot.

I know that feeling too, it is very frustrating when you can be online or you have some problem in your computer that make you can't use it, when I am reinstall my operating system I usually to read a book or watch a movie.
I can't live without a computer like you, and everyday I need more that the computer for study, work, fun, and talk with my friends that like in far countries, I saw a funny video on you tube called internet goes down and it is really funny see how all the people drive crazy when it happen, a guy there tried to suck the internet wire to make the internet come back. I think I would to make that if internet goes down so long -_-.

:o(. I can understand how you feel. I finally experience it the last weekend when my husband doing some configuration and upgrade my hard-disk for my laptop. I am unable to print worksheet for my children, unable to surf net, unable to watch movie and myLotting.
