I am a large sized woman, but I also have a waist and when I go to Walmart, Zellers, or Sears, I find the plus sizes are more or less designed for someone were everything has dropped and their stomach has shrunk or else it is straight down with no shape. When I go to a clothings store I find that they also have the same problem because they just cut the pattern a little larger and yet forgot to enlarge the area to accommodate a large stomach since many of us have diabetes or are prone to it. Also if one is short waisted or petite plus, the only way we can get something to fit is to go to a clothings store that specializes in large sizes. I also shop at Addition-Elle that sells to women at size 14 and up and also includes sizes for the large petite women that most stores think do not exist. All right, where do you shop for clothes and why do you prefer it that way? Thanks.

My sister is a large sized woman and she has told me that the only place she can find clothing that fit her properly is at Macys. She usually will shop the clearance/sale items there. We don't have a Macys in our town, so she actually has to go out of town to get the majority of her clothing.

Thanks. I live in Canada, but when we do go to the States, I'll be sure to go to Macys.

hi suspenseful !! i'm a man, L size, with a little tummy here there are few boutiques that sell plus size for women most of them got the clothes from HK and China, and the prizes are not too expensive for the second option, big sized women here can find their clothes on a factory outlet.. ever heard such form of store ?? heheee.. most of my friends are small sized since they often go to the gym to keep their waist small LOL me, i also sometimes shop on the factory outlet too it's fashionable and the price is not that expensive most of the clothes sold there are overdued items you can find an authentic D&G t-shirts or an Abercombie shorts if you're lucky if i have more money, i'd go for Nautica.. even the S size fit me.. weird thanks .. ^^

We have two large-sized stores in our city. One caters to more shapely women like myself, and the other for women who are not. The clothes are more expensive so I only go there when there's a special occasion. Otherwise I have to go to the thrift stores where either it fits and it is the wrong color or visa versa. Thanks for the info.
