since my computer is a pentium 2 with few memory RAM I found that WINAMP is the better option because it can work with a computer with few RAM, it has also a another version for a computer with a good processor, I have used windows media player but it don't let me work fine playing music and surfing the internet so I just download WINAMP and it rocks. I liked bsplayer but since they change their free version I never again use it, for internet I use Mozilla Firefox because it come with a spell checker very useful for mylot.

If I like a song, I usually go to Itune, buy it and download it from there. I try to find free sites that would let you listen to your music and I usually just listen to it there and don't do anything else with it.

When windows was my operating system I used to user Winamp because it is a light software and has a lot of nice plugins. Last year I started using Linux and, even if there is a good replacement of winamp called XMMS, I use Amarok. I like Amarok because it makes a search of the lyrics of the song you are listening to and show them near the playlist. I t is a good feature for me because I'm italian and I mostly listen to English music.

I use the version of iTunes that was created for IBM compatible computers. I was very excited when Mac first made iTunes available for IBM compatible computers, because I had seen how well iTunes worked for a friend of mine with a Mac.

I use Winamp. It's small in size and it allows plenty of skin customization; Windows Media Player is too bulky and slow for me.

Most of the time I use Winamp for playing the music on my Computer. But at times, I also use Windows Media Player that come built in with the Windows Operating System. I dont know why, but I see Winamp is taking a lot of time to get started even with the Classic skin. But I feel the Playlist management is much easier in winamp when compared to Windows Media Player and many other Players such as Real Player, Quicktime etc. Best of all, Winamp is FREE..
