So, have you heard of the "Fish Tank Toilet"? I just heard about this! I think it's cute looking, but I don't think I would buy one for my home. I believe this toilet could probably become more of a problem in the long run. Plus, how safe is it for the fish? I mean, come on, we all know that the bathroom isn't the cleanest place to be. I'm sure the fish tank would be crawling with bacteria! What are your views on this? If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can google "Fish Tank Toilet" and you should then be able to find some articles on it. Or you can go here to this link and actually watch a small clip: http://www.aolvideoblog.com/2007/06/14/fish-tanks-toilet/

The warmth would be the factor for the fish and the bathroom is not so dirty if those cleansers are used. The ones that could poison the fish. They are not the cleanest animals either. You know that reptiles can have salmonella. Fish could not live in a sterile environment. I don't think I would want one since we don't camp out in the bathroom. Would prefer the fish in the living room or other public area.

I would also like my fish tank in the living room where people can see it all the time. Plus, it doesn't matter how clean a bathroom is, bacteria is always floating around the toilet area. And you are suppose to keep a fish tank clean and away from chemicals.

It is crazy the things people come up with. I'm sure he will sell lots of them but it isn't for me.

hmmm, interesting anyhow. so long as the water the fish are in is not let out with the flushing, and the temperature stays at a constant. it seems to me difficult to control in this situation. I am wondering how effective this set up is as far as viewing your fish...I mean, generally do we not face the OTHER direction when using the commode. except maybe for the men in the house during some usage may face it - but do we want their focus on the tank rather than the bowl during such times?

I had to go to this blg to see what you were ctually talking about...I had not heard of them....I amafraid that there is no way I would have one of these in my house....with all of the grandchildren in the house on and off...I would never get them out of the bathroom...LOL I would also be concerned about the cleanliness factor...While I love fish tanks.....and we have one in the living room...I just can not realistically think about a fish tank toilet.....LMAO
