What do you think? Is this good for the Rockets more than it is for the Wolves? I mean, now the Rockets have guards aplenty. You think this will figure in new Coach A's style of play?

That might be a problem but I would think Coach Adelman already has envisioned a solution to that or he wouldn't have traded for James. Jamesis basically a shoot-first pass-never type of player that's why he had problems with KG who was always for the team player..So let's just see how it turns out..thanx for the post

The Rockets definitely did a good job with this trade. Juwan Howard's usefulness has just about run out and Houston wanted to get rid of his contract. Now Houston has plenty of good three point shooting guards but no one to help out Yao Ming in the post.

It's true and if they want to get a quality forward they'd have to give up some of these guards and possibly *sigh* Battier..

A good guard is what Houston lacks of. Alston may be the best guard in Houston, but i don't think Mike James anywhere near to that standard. As we can see from this season, all work is done by TMac and Yao. Houston faces big problem when either of them are contained by opponent's defense. And it's true that Houston already had plenty of guards. 4 of them in total. I think this is really not a good trade.

Or they could trade their guards to get a PF in place of Howard. Like Ron Artest. But the Kings won't give up Artest for yet another guard when they have Bibby so a third teams has to be involved.

I think it's a good trade. With due respect to Howard, I think he's overrated and in his tenure with the rockets, never became a threat both offensively and defensively. Mike James played not so great in Minnesotta, but if he would bring his game like he did in Toronto, then the Rockets got the better of he trade. The Rockets definitely impoved with this move, but management would need a lot more of this to give Tmac and Yao enough support.

Now though, they have V-Span, Luther, Alston, Lucas and not much on the PF position..Only Hayes and Novak... I agree though that if James plays like he did in Toronto and becomes a 3rd scoring option, the Rockets may be good... Only one position now to complete the pieces.

It's good .No matter what happen ,the Rocket will not lose .It has YaoMing ,I think he is one the bestest player ,and he isn't old . Opposite he is on the power time . To this failer,it must be the first and last time ! Just because YaoMing! So who leading the team!

True, but they have to build a strong support cast around him and T-Mac if they are to be championship-caliber team...and when i mean support, I mean role players..
