When I first got the internet back in approx Nov 98. I was in a very abusive relationship. I was restricted by threat of reprisal to the outside world in person. I found a small group of people from around the world. They lifted me up and gave me encouragement at every corner. I started to feel empowered and I did get out of the situation I was in! These friends are still my friends after almost 9 yrs. I have met a few of them over the years in person. And I love them as dearly as the friends I have in my "real" life. For me, the internet was a blessing, the people I met literally saved my life. Beautiful things, words, friendships, feelings can be found in so many places. Life is what you make of it and nothing is a coincidence! Everything happens for a reason. This is my belief!
