needles how does everyone feel about them??

i hate them i find it hard to hype myself if i have to go for a blood test, god knows how i got through 2 pregnancies.
but i have 2 tattoos, only small ones, but i dont find it too bad getting them done!!
what is everyone elses take on needles/injection??

I'm diabetic and take about five shots a day, so they don't really bother me much.They bother me more if I don't have them,lol.

id admire you for being able to do that every day, i honestly donr know what id do if i had diabetes

I am a diabetic. Whenever I go for blood test, they do not find nerve in my hand. They go on trying here and there and how many times they needle my hand. So blood test is a nightmare for me.

i feel for you, i had to get 7 or 8 injections once for blood they went in between my knuckles and everything it was very discomforting.

They don't bother me too much! When I was little I would go with my mom when she would donate blood so I got use to them I guess =) My husband hates them and every time I mention going to donate blood he thinks I am crazy because he doesn't like needles. I couldn't give myself a shot or anything, but other people doing it doesn't bother me.

when my kids have there injections i have taught them not to be afraid , its only when they are going in me or when i see them on TV, my boyfriend had to have a blood test and they left the line in him i went as white as a sheet and the doctor asked me if i would like a seat and a hot drimk to put the colour back in my cheeks LOL

It depends on how big the needle is. About 6 months ago I had some blood work done and the lady pulls out this needle as big as your head, at least the size of my head.
Now, usually, I'm cool with needles and my demeanor is always laid back, respectful, etc. Well, Seeing a needle the side of my head made me ask her "what the h--- do you think you are going to do with that,
sh--ed"
She laughed so hard she started coughing. I wasn't laughing.....drawing blood doesn't require a cannon sized needle......
