"Miss Universe"/ "Miss USA" Pagents

What do you guys think of "Miss Universe" and "Miss USA" pagents? Do you think that too much focus is given on outter beauty or not enough? If anything, what do you think they could do to make the competition a little more fair?

I don't pay attention to them. Beauty is often looked at and peoples feelings over looked. I never have seen or paid attention to pageant, I actually think they're a waste of time. ~Joey

I actually haven't watched those pagent shows in years as i really don't think much of it.I don't think I could compete against them. I had a friend that entered Miss Tennessee Pageant and came in third.

I think it is a little bit too much and I think they have plenty of beauty being showed off. I think they should make the competition fair so that anyone that wants to run, can.

I don't watch these pageants. I think that they focus so much on the "beauty" and having the "perfect body" that it does nothing but encourage anorexia
