I know there are many people here who are Christians of one type or another. There are also those who might just be curious. I decided that this website would be fun to post for informational reasons. ** I have NO affiliation to this site. It is a free site.** The site is http://biblicalholidays.com/ It explains Chrisianities Jewish roots and much more. Hope someone enjoys it. Let me know what you think of it.

This is a very interesting site. It's certainly enlightening to learn about the faith system from which Christianity stems! Jesus celebrated these very holidays!

That's what I love. That Jesus celebrated them too. I have often wanted to celebrate Hanukah (sp?). Everytime I mention it my husband says "but we aren't Jewish" I always say to him "but Jesus was and we follow him".

%hanls for posting this sight it is going to answer a lot of questions for me. I think Understanding the bible from a hebrew stand point will make everything much clearer.

I will look around at this. It looks really interesting. I just learned this morning that an old friend of mine is studying to become a clergy in a messianic church, about an hours' drive from here. It will give good perspective to me. I think it will really enrich worship for me a as well. It is so cool what you can learn online. Thanks for this informative post.
