daddy's girl or mama's boy?

How I wish I can answer yout post, karen my friend. But I cant, because I have never known a Mom or a Dad. I grew up in my Aunt's care. Even though you miss your father quite much, you are still very fortunate to have a caring Mom and Dad. Cheers !

I've always been closer with my mom. She's the one whose always been there for me. I admire her for everything she's done for us including the disciplinary parts. It's because of her that I'm a good mother myself.

I'm neither and never have been actually but thats a story all in itself...As for my kids, they are definately mamas babies...LOL mainly though becuase I've raised them, been the consistant in their life etc and we are very close....their father was very much a rollercoaster person in their lives when he was alive and not really an affectionate father either...The kids love their stepdad but they are/have been and always will be mama's babies ;-)

i am a bit of both lol, it depends on what i am in need of (not in a "give me stuff" kind of way lol). both of my parents are more like friends than mum and dad, i can sit and chat with my mum for hours, and we don't get sick of each others company. my dad would do anything for me, if i need something fixing, he is there, if i need a lift he is there, that sort of thing and like with my mum, i can talk to him too. so i am a bit of a mummys and a daddys girl :P

I am very close to my mom. She is my best friend and I can talk to her about anything and everything. If I go two days without talking to her, I feel lost. My husband always picks on me, because he is always asking what we could possibly talk about everyday. I jokingly tell him that we talk about him. But no we just talk about how are days went, what we watched on tv, etc. But even though I am very close to my mom. I am and always will be a "daddy's girl". I can't explain why. I don't talk to my dad like I do my mom. But I love him with all my heart. If something really bad happens to me or my family, my dad is normally the first person I call. He is my hero and comfort when I am hurt.

I am closer to my mom, but not by choice. I mean I never knew my father and my mother raised us on her own, so she was the only one for me to really get close to.

I'm basically closer to my mom. For one my father is an OFW (Overseas Worker) and he left when I was still young around 8 years old. He comes home only once a year.
