Even with a good night's rest and a daily nap, I can still barely get up the energy to go to the fridge! I am tired of being sick and sick of being tired. I understand how it is to be so tired that moving your arms is an exertion of energy. I hope that you begin feeling better. I am sending out good vibes :)

~sings "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys~ *grins* I don't remember what it's like to sleep a full nights sleep, much less wake up half way rested. Nor to have a full day's worth of energy. *sighs* The good ol' days!

I am only getting a full nights sleep because of the anti-depressant I am on. Before that sleeping was out of the question. Since it is summer and I am not in school I go to bed about 1 or 2 am and get up between 9 and 11am. I am still sending out good vibes to all of you. I hope we all find the relief we need

I'm always tired but I don't know if I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome but I've been reading about it and I just don't know!

And unfortunately CFS is a disease of exclusion. You have to be tested for everything else before your doctor will typically say, okay, you have Chronic Fatigue. I've been there as well. I am on the mend, but have been backsliding a bit since my acupuncturist has been away on vacation for the past month. I finally get to go for a treatment on Thursday and can't wait!!!! I know that it is summer and you don't want to hear this, believe me I am the same way but when I do this I feel better, but if you can get to bed before 10 pm you may feel better. I read somewhere along the line that we (CFS sufferers) should be in bed before 10 and get a full 8 hours of sleep (or at least attempt to get 8 hours) and when I do, I feel much better. I've also been doing a lot more reading up on holistic and eastern (mainly Chinese) medicine because the main reason I am in this situation is medicine-related and the feeling there as well is to be asleep by 10 and then up super early. I can say again that I feel a lot more energy when I do that, even if I have to take a nap in the afternoon. But hey, I can actually get things done and have a clearer mind. Good luck to all of you. Don't give up and if you don't have the diagnosis and have had all of the testing and still no results...keep on pushing, don't give up...no one knows their bodies better than themselves. Don't let it get to the point that you have to quit your job and move back home with your parents after being on your own for 10 years ( :P ). Yes, that's what happened to me...so I speak from experience.

Some days I'm more tired than others. It really depends on what I did that day. I'm self employed so I'm doing different things everday.

I have noticed that my energy level goes up and down as well. Like today I am full of energy - but yesterday I could barely move. I like days like today ;)

Yup, I know exactly what you mean! However, I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, so they really wear me down. I also have a damaged lower lumbar (back), so it limits what I can do on the exercise front. I do try to take the dog for walk, do some dishes, do some laundry, etc throughout the day so I'm not just sitting at the computer for 5+ hours straight. But, if you are able, every 2-3 hours, get up and walk up and down the road you live on, mess around with the pets, do some housework ... just something to get yourself moving. That will help energy levels.
