Have you ever searched with ChaCha?

ChaCha is a fairly new search engine that was started by a man from Indianapolis. It is unique in that you can request a live guide when you do a search. So, if you can't find what you are looking for or just don't have the time, you can get a real person, called a guide, who will send you several sites that relate to the topic you are searching for. So, far the guides I've gotten have been very helpful and they always ask if they found what I was needing. Have you ever tried it and what do you think of having a guide do the searching for you?

No, I have never heard of it before, what is the link or name to find it under? So many times I have searched for things and never found a good answer this would be awesome to use, thanks for sharing.

I love ChaCha. I use it for all my personal searches as well as the fact that I am a ChaCha guide. I love helping people. I think of all the things I do for jobs that is my favorite as people are so excited when I can find something they have been searching for for hours. I get the giggles here on the other side of the screen at the reactions of people I have helped. I will do this as long as ChaCha is around.

Hi Tricia,
How long have you been a guide? How difficult was the training? I signed up as a guide, but I did not follow through. Things got busy in my life and did not (still don't) have DSL.

Yes, I have heard of it. I read a news article on it a little while ago. It is neat to have a guide to assist you with your search. Real live people are lots better than a computer many , many times. I hope they grow huge!!!!! I love having someone else do the work for me. Not that I'm lazy or anything, LOL just it is nice to have someone waiting on me for a change.

I signed up sometime ago to become a guide with Cha-cha..and still haven't heard anything yet...since I have always had a love for learning and research I thought I'd be ideal for it--maybe should enroll again??

I haven't done a search with them. I tried but I don't think it was working at the time. It seems like a great concept but from the things that I've read on other forums, it wasn't working out too good. It's been several months since I've read anything about it, so, thinks might have changed. I'll be interested to see what responses you get to this discussion.

Hi it is pretty neat.I am enrolled to be a chacha guide but i havent been able to do any work and go through training because i cant get the java to load.
