Hillary makes $165,000 a year as base pay as a US Senator. She has earned millions in royalties from her 5 published books. Bill received a book advance of between $10-$12 million to write his memoir "my Life". He made over $29 million in speaking fees from 2001-2005. As a former president, he earns a yearly pension of $197,000. Mr. Clinton requested a $963,000 reimbursement from the federal government for his office and staff for fiscal year 2007. You mean he's asked us to pay for his office and staff expenses? These are incredible amounts of money. I can't even imagine.

Good question. It seems that most politicians are independently wealthy. That's why I've always wondered how they feel they can relate to us "little people" who make less than $100 thousand a year, or in my case, less than $25 thousand a year.

Are they really worth all that much? I don't think they are myself. I'm not big into polotics but I was glad when his term of being our president was over.

No, I cannot imagine; but I would think that because of them earning and because of who they were, they would be worth something. If they are worth that much, I can only imagine how much Bush is worth in this administration. very interesting.
