Did anyone see the interview last night with Prince William and Harry? When asked what they thought of the United States, Harry quickly replied 'Horrible'! Although he gave no reason as to why he feels that way, it's another prime example of what people really think of us. I was disheartened, because I had always liked Diana's 'boys'. I think I'll be viewing Harry in a different way now....

Old news but I still had to react. "Horrible" huh? Uh huh -_-. And lo and behold not a lot of reaction to this discussion. In fact I know I've seen other discussions that have said this or worse (a few of them without any reasoning behind them). But of course if someone stateside says something critical of other countries (and even gives some forms of 'why')... "watch out!" -_- The double standard continues to live. /headache temple rub. Shameful.

I don't even notice this discussions months ago. No I don't watch much TV but he is a prince so there won't be many places he will find great or interesting since he can afford to travel anywhere he wants if he lives simple life he may think differently. there must be great places to live in the US, like in any country.

I think it was very rude of Prince Harry to say this. He should have gone on to say why. It is a great shame that some people do not like the States at the moment. I have enjoyed travelling there a few times. I have also met many nice American people when I have been travelling in other countries.

It's very popular to hate the States. And before you cite the current wars, people hated us before that for a variety of reasons. Wasn't Harry the one who did the Hitler costume for Halloween? If so we're not exactly dealing with the brightest bulb on the porch.
