Don't people think about the names they give their children first.....?

I have a couple of friends who just had children, and I love them. But, the names they have given their daughters are TOO MUCH!! One of my friends named her daughter Mariah Carey Marie, and the other friend named her daughter Lucy Blue. I can't belive people don't think about the burden they are putting on the children. People are mean! These poor girls will be teased someday...

Lucy isn't too bad...but I'm sure mariah carey will get teased. I think some people just don't realize how mean kids can be. Although some kids can make fun of even the most simple names too.

Yeah, some parents can be cruel. I had a friend in High School named Jim Sox. Now that is cruel! ;~D

i think that parents do not always think before they name thier children. i named my daughter after my mother and me, her name is elsie faye gayle. (lst name withheld). it did not occour to me that someone may remember "elsie the borden cow". but so far, no one has ever sid anything to her about it, except for metelling her i was sorry if anyone ever called her that.

Well needless to say, they won't have to worry about people getting them confused with other people who might have the same name lol
