What a wonderful night, tonight!!!

Today was one of those hot days you can have here in Italy during summer..It was nearly 40 °C. Incredible...but now..oh what a night is tonight..it is perfect: hot, quiet, shining with stars and smelling with flowers..oh if I was not so exhausted and if I was not alone, I would stay out tonight till late in order to relish this wonderful night. I remember one summer night walking from Trastevere to Torre Argentina and then to Piazza Navona and again to Piazza Augusto Imperatore..such a long walk across some of the most beautiful places of Rome. I wish I could do this walk tonight under all these stars. But now i am alone and unfortunately it is not safe for a lonely woman at night....mmm I am staying outside on the balcony a little more and then directly to bed with my favourite music. Just wanted to share these emotions with you.

I cherish the nights and days that seem near perfect. You want them to last forever. Today was not one of those days. It rained most of the day. There were brief moments of sun. I love the days when the sun is warm and your emotions are blissful. Huggers to you.

would you mind, if i accompany you, maribea? lol...
i wish i could be there watching the night sky and enjoying the aroma around!! nights are beautiful and i just love to gaze at the sky from my balcony as well. the stars move, blink and talk...some times i contemplate being alone and sometimes i yearn for good company. but then i accept things, life must go on and on...

Your post was like alive..it took me with you all the way from Piazza Navona to Piazza Augusta and back again........
It's little sad that you can't enjoy alone a night walk,but was nice you share it with us.

Today was really hot on Chicago, but now is very nice and pleasant...I was just talking to my close neighbors for one hour about beautiful sky and sunset....
I wish to walk with you at night in Rome...ha, ha, I can be your bodyguard...maybe we can ask Aidonia to walk with us......
Maybe you can come over to Chicago; I walk my dogs at midnight..it is nice, quiet and safe in my neighborhood..
We can seat in my garden at night, watch stars and talk about books and movies....:))))

oh how I wish we could be together under a peaceful night sky...it is quiet and safe in my neighbourhood, too but the places I was talking about are in the centre of Rome and you must be careful because they are supposed to be either full of tourists or too lonely!!!! maybe one day we can be together and relax drinking a fresh lemonade and talk about what we like...mmm wonderful image to start my day. thanks!!!

What a beautiful night Italy was that. It was a hot night and stars were shining. You were feeling lonelyness, but you were not alone. All of the scenario was along with you, and you were enjoying the life. Here in my country weather is too much hot. Extream and record heat does not allow us to enjoy the night. Ther are not stars on the sky, coz our atmosphere is extreamly poluted and it is difficult for us to watch the glaxies on sky. However we participated enuoed the joyfull night in your discussion and we will participate. It means that you are not alone.
