By "series" I mean 4 or more books tied together thru the same characters and/or setting/theme. I love Harry Potter, Dragonlance, Chronicles of Narnia, Patricia Cornwell's "Scarpetta" series, Stephen King's "Gunslinger" series...

Well if you can include this one, my favorite is Lord of the Rings. Then a spanish one called (translated) Horse of Troy, which really rocks. I have read one of Scarpetta series...Predator, and i loved it...bit gory though. Finally..another spanish one...Captain Alatriste Adventures..really good literature, easy to read and lots of enjoyment.

I love the Dragonlance books! I also like The Dragonriders of Pern and The Executioner series. The Mission Earth series by L.Ron Hubbard was pretty good, too.

Anne McCaffrey also has a series of Crystal Singer books. I liked them as well. Just didn't remember them until tonight.

My favorite series of books would have to be the books by Carol Higgins Clark. She is the daughter of Mary Higgings Clark, but you may have already know that. All of the books Carol Higgins Clark has wrote (with the exception of those written with her mother) are a series. The books are about a detective Reagen (sorry may have misspelled that) Riley who is a private detective that takes on different cases in each book. But also through out each book from the very beginning she meets this guy who works for the NYPD whos last name also happens to be Riley. They fall in love and thier love story is interwined in each of the books. One of her books was about wedding dresses getting stolen including hers. Then her last book they were on thier honeymoon and ended having to solve yet other mystery.

I love the Myth Adventures series about Robert Asprin, though the latest ones that he has been doing with Jody Lynn Nye seem to be lacking something compared to the ones that he did before by himself. I also really like the Time Wars series by Simon Hawke. And there is the Four Lords of the Diamond series by Jack L. Chalker that I reread every few years.

Hmmm. Most of the series that I enjoy are scifi/fantasy. I like Harry Potter, LOTR (which is 4 if you count the Hobbit, which I do), Wheel of Time, Sword of Truth, the dragon books by Anne McCaffrey, the Camulod Chronicles, Stephen King's Gunslinger, oh gosh, probably a lot more. I love series because the story isn't just in one book. I hate it when I have to say goodbye, even for just a while, to characters I love.

I really like the Sandman series of graphic novels by Neil Gaiman. Technically, they started out as a series of 75 comics, but they've been compiled into 10 graphic novels. I think it counts as a series, seeing as there are even college classes on the topic of Sandman. (I'd love to get to take a class on my favorite graphic novel series!)

I love Vampires - Vampires
I haven't done much reading in a long time but my favorite was Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. I'm very "into" vampires and enjoyed all of her books. Years ago I was reading all of the Flowers In the Attic books also but tired of them very fast.
