The Age of Love

Did anybody catch this new dating reality show last night? It is hosted by Mark Consuelos. I had no intention of watching it really, but there was nothing else on.
A 30 year old man thought he was just coming on a show like The Bachelor until he finds out all the women are aged 38 to 48 years old. One has a 21 year old son. They are all beautiful women who do not look their age at all. He eliminated one woman at the end of the show and then they introduced a bunch of 20 year olds to the mix. That was where the show ended.
It was funny to see the older ladies sitting in their hotel suite reading, drinking milk and doing needlepoint while the young chicks were playing with a hula hoop in their room. (I'm in my 40's so by "older" I am using that word as a comparison).
This guy was totally taken aback when he realized all these women were much older than him as he usually dates younger women. What else is new? Guys always go for the young chicks! It will be interesting to see which way he goes with this one.
What do you think? Will he go with an older woman or take a younger girl? I think there is something to be said for maturity. I think he may go with an older woman, but one of the younger older women. LOL!

That tennis player guy is going to end up picking one of the older women to hook up with. It won't be because of love, but because the show is fixed. Reality TV has gotten so fake and this show can be included in the mix. NBC wants an older woman to win so that more older women will watch their programming. They feel like they need to do something to gain viewers because their ratings have been tanking left field for the past few years.

My husband happened to change the channel and came across this show. He watched it for a few minutes and noticed that the 30 year old was not impressed with all the older aged women. He reckons he will go for a younger one LOL

In seeing a preview for next week's show, Mark (the bachelor) was heard saying "I miss the older women." I hope he goes for one of the older ones. I can't tell yet but the younger girls look quite immature. This is a social issue test. He has realized he can enjoy himself with an older woman but can they give him a family if that is what he is looking for? The ages are just so extreme.

I'm watching it too. I think he is beginning to realize that the older women have more to talk about and are definitely more interesting. I don't think age should matter. The only time I would say it would matter is if it is someone going for someone who isn't of age. But other then that who cares. It will be interesting to see what happens. I think he likes Jen and Jayna so we will have to wait and see.

Well When you meet someone you care about the looks, and obviously in general younger people have an advantage there. But i don't think all men go after younger women...it's just a custom we all used to have. It's like the girls were looking for security so they chose an older man, and the man sees the cute girl n chooses her, n happens to be younger. It's a mutual tradition, not only of the males. Anyway the love of my life is 3 years older than me, for your information LOL.
