Old couple seeks a divorce

This is a joke, so please don't reply feeling sorry for these folks or saying how disgusting it is they are giving up after so long. A woman of 97 and her 101 year old husband go to a lawyer seeking a divorce. "Not to be rude," says the lawyer, "but how long have you folks been married?" They reply they have been married almost 80 years so the lawyer asks, "Why do you want to get divorced?" They reply that they really never have gotten along. Amazed the lawyer asks, "Why have you waited so long to get a divorce?" The old lady smirks a little and elbows her hubby who chuckles. "Well," she tells the lawyer, "We wanted to wait until the kids died."
