Today is the Summer Solstice. One of the Wiccan Sabbats. How will you be celebrating?

I'll probably go out in the yard lay in the grace and enjoy just being near the earth..since I haven't been able to do that for awhile. Maybe write another song, whip up a mini feast just for my onesies. Lol...I'm a simple girl when it comes to holidays. I'll do fancier things if I have people to celebrate with, because I like seeing what they think..but when I'm by myself..I mostly take some time out and relax..since I don't really do that nearly as often as I should.

its been a very busy and stressful couple of weeks in our house so I've not "planned" anything but hopefully today I can spend some time outside in the yard just "being" and enjoying the day at least for a little bit..my son mentioned taking the dogs for a walk in the woods but Ray Ray has hurt her leg somehow so I'm not too keen on takin her back there at the moment but I might go back with the kids.... I dont concern myself with specific dates when it comes to Solstices because I dont celebrate the Sabbats since thats a Wiccan thing...I DO however celebrate the seasons changing though but rather work around my life if that makes sense...so if I cant do what I want today (I didnt sleep well on top of everything else) then I'll do it tomorrow or the next day or whenever I'm able...Hopefully I WILL be able to this weekend though since its supposed to be GORGEOUS out..

All of these sound like wonderful ways to spend the solstice. Hope everyone had a good one. Thanks for responding. Blessed Be.

I'm not sure I'll really do much at all. Since I've had vertigo all week, there isn't a lot I can really do to celebrate today. However, I will meditate for a bit later, and maybe try a simple ritual (done sitting down for safety). I was kind of disappointed because I had bigger plans, but apparently those just weren't meant to be.

Due to the weather and my oldest being sick we're celebrating on Friday. The kids and I are going outside to blow bubbles and enjoy the sunshine. We celebrate pretty light and simple while the kids are still young.
