how do you say "good morning" in your language/dialect?

good morning - greetings to set your mood in the morning!

in the philippines, we say, "magandang umaga".. in our dialect (ilocano), we say, "naimbag nga bigat" or "naimbag nga agsapa".

Magandang umaga, friend. We say "zao shang hao" and we write "???". Just practise it and you will speak it well instantly. It is easy. Thanks for sharing with us your language for “Good morning.”

Here on saipan we say "Hafa Adai" which can mean anything form good morning, good afternoon or good night:) Or we can also use the term "Buenas Dias", meaning hello and good morning:)

"naimbag" is an ilocano word which means good or well..

Well I guess you don't pronounce it as you read it. But we say it as written 'Dobro Utro' (Bulgarian). :)

"magandang umaga" is pronounced as you read it. ma-gan-dang ooo-ma-ga. "naimbag nga agsapa" is pronounced as you read it... na-eeem-bag nga ag-sa-pa. thanks for sharing tzvetelina!

im from philippines too and as dolce_vita78 wrote we say it as 'magandang umaga'. in my dialect which is Bisaya, we say 'maayo nga aga'

Well, I say good morning with a grunt usually, as I'm not the cheeriest person in the morning, lol! But otherwise if I really have to say it, it is just 'good morning'!

Here in New Zealand we say "Atamaarie" "Good Morning" Ive just gone and filled a post saying "How do you say "Good Afternoon" in your language??? and Ive accidentally put in the translation for "Good Morning" LOL darn I must need to get some sleep...
