Update on my brother's condition

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers, kindness, messages , and emails.
My brother Steve as some of you know had an anersism, was operated on Monday.He was kept in a medicine induced coma for 24 hours then they began trying to wake him up.He has squeezed my hand when I spoke to him yesterday but he still doesn't wake up.I was somewhat down after seeing him yesterday but I was hopeful because he squeezed my hand then this morning I got a call that he has an infection in the brain and they would be running tests to see if it was meninjides.
I continue to pray. I do feel so useless in this...2 months ago we stood together over our sisters coffin and now I stand over his bed where he lays so swollen that you can bearly tell who he is.I sometimes wonder why my family has to suffer so often but then I tell myself to just trust in what must be that it is happening for a reason that I just do not understand.Again Thank You all so much.Hugs

Thank you for the update sugar. Try to just lean on God. His ways are His alone. It is a sad situation that you are in. Please read the story of "Jobe". Hello raydene. There is always a reason for everything and I'm not the right person to give you the precise answer why it is happening to you right now. I only know that you are holding up well and still in your best fighting condition. I would be devastated and a complete mess by now. My thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

I´m so sorry, raydene. I won´t say: "don´t feel like this or don´t think like that". I can understand your feelings, there are so many emotions mixed up inside you, when terrible things like this happen.
I´ve lost family members through illness, so I can relate to you in that sense. It´s only normal that you ask yourself why this is happening to your loved ones. Understanding these painful things sometimes helps.
I will keep sending praying for you and your brother. All the positive thoughts are going your way.

So sorry to hear your brother is not any better. It is awful to have to stand by and feel helpless. Is your brother older or younger than you?
