Can I get installed a radio/FM in my cellphone?

i had nokia 6600 earlier ... and therz no way u can install any fm radio in it.. no way at all !!...
so say bbye to ur 6600 nd get urself a new n73m or n70m or w700i....as per ur needs n pocket

I posted this discussion with the hope that someone would be there who'll say that you can get the FM installed in 6600. BUt none of you said that. This makes sure that its not possible. Anyways, thanks a lot for clearing my concepts. I have rated you '+'. In my opinion you would be better off just getting a new phone with such capabilities, If they could install radio on to your phone, it would be a tedious process i'm sure and probably pretty pricey.

Just being honest, but i would try local pawn shops, I'm not sure where your from but if you have a Jumping JAck Cash near your area, They are usually pretty fair, or you can also try www.craigslist.com, The good thing about that is you can name your price and debate for it. Then of course there is always good old ebay. You would probably get the most from craigslist, that is usually where I try to get rid of stuff.

No, that's not possible.. Even I had the same ohone some time back, and I had tried out the same thing about installing FM radio in it, but it couldn't be done.. That's becoz it dosen't have anough space to hold a FM receiver in its processor.. Becoz of that, I switched to N series, which come preloaded with FM radio and with all the features of Nokia 6600 plus a lot more... U can try switching to that as well...

I don't think you can... if it comes with that feature, then it does.. otherwise there is nothing you can do.

I would suggest you buy another cellphone having FM. It is not use installing FM in 6600. Cell phone having FM and camera are not very expensive now a days.

One of the simplest way of adding FM radio to your handset is to buy a handsfree that had an inbuilt FM radio, which you can use in your mobile as both handsfree and the FM Radio.. Hope that helps.
