Well honestly I find that a bit strange story :D (because I don't believe in God) How can so many creatures stay on a ark and still have enough food ? Also where did yhe water came from ? and where did it went to ? Off course if you believe in God, then you have your answer but for those who don't believe in God want proof..

you check archelogical proof available of the ark lying in the mountains of Turkey.whether you believe it or not. if there is no God why should you mention about God and waste your time.

noahs period followed the thirty days calender which tells that they spent 371 days including the first and the last day of stay and according to the present calender that we follow it is 376 days that they lived in the ark

371 days are correct by the way we calculate today. But if we calculate by the way of Jewish calendar it is exactly 365 days.

Actually I read the story thrice and counted the days Noah stayed in the ark. My guess is 381 days before God told him to go out. Noah waited for God's instructions before he went out of the ark. Noah was 600 years old when he went inside the ark and he as 601 when he left it... (c",)

Read Genesis chapter 7 & 8 and do some calculation and come back and if you are some where near 365 days you are on the track of correct answer & take this as a challenge dear.

According to the bible the Ark came to rest on, what is believed to be, Mount Ararat 150 days after they set sail. The Ark rested at the mountain for, at least, another 70 days before Noah sent out the fabled dove. So far, we are at 220 days. The dove returned with nothing, so, Noah waited 7 days and sent the dove out again. The dove returned with a leaf. Noah waited 7 more days and sent the dove out once more. It did not return and Noah and his family left the ark. There are, at least, 234 day accounted for. The bible never says how long the dove was gone.

I will put up the exact days in myLot very shortly meanwhile I would quote two verses where in one way you can find the time Noah has taken. Refer Genesis Chapter 7 verse 11 & the 8th chapter verse 13-17 you will get a clue

You can read it in the Bible, it is in Genesis chapters 7 and 8. It was about a year according to the calender that time. Here is a link to a modern translation http://www.watchtower.org/e/bible/index.htm I also went to the home page and did a search with "Noah" and found some interesting information
