get Birnbaums (not sure of the spelling) Guide to Disney World. If you are planning a trip with kids, they have a book for that. If its just adults, they have another book. Once you get the book, look through it. Decide what kind of hotel you want to stay at. Do you want one on the monorail line? There are only 3 - The Polynesian (my fav), The Grand Floridian (very expensive) and the Contemporary. I suggest one of these because you wouldn't have to worry about the buses unless you decide to also go to MGM, Animal Kingdom, the water park, etc. Once you pick what hotel, decide on your "Wishes" package. For my honeymoon we went with the Silver package. You get 2 wishes a day per person. You can use them towards meals, shows, etc. We used our towards meals. This way the only spending money we needed was for things we wanted to buy, not towards meals. I sugest once you have all the info and you know what you want, go to a travel agent. we used AAA and did it all over the phone. it was great. good luck!

The site - www.allearsnet.com is a great resource from a regular Disney visitor to help with planning, etc. Everything from prices and amenities at the hotels to menus at the restaurants is available there. Hope you have fun!
